IT staffing firm S.i. Systems ULC announced today it acquired Keen Technology Consulting, an IT staffing provider based in Toronto.
Keen was founded in 2006 and provides programmers, business analysts, project managers and digital media specialists.
“S.i. Systems and Keen align well on core values and service levels,” said Derek Bullen, CEO of S.i. Systems. “We have a very healthy and targeted acquisition program, and Keen was specifically sought out because of how well their synergistic approach to client and consultant relationships fit the S.i. Systems model.”
S.i. Systems ranks as the seventh-largest staffing company in Canada. It’s based in Calgary and has 17 offices throughout Canada.
“This is a tremendous opportunity to continue the Keen legacy,” said Grant McKeracher, managing partner of Keen. “Toronto is a technology hub with a great demand for the best talent. Together with S.i. Systems, Keen now has increased our capacity to deliver for our clients the quality they deserve.”
Terms of the transaction were not announced.
