South Carolina-based telecommunications company Hargray Communications is acquiring Infinity Network Solutions Inc. , a managed IT services provider (MS) with operations in Macon and Covington, Georgia. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.More about Managed Service Providers acquisition.
Infinity provides managed IT services, technology infrastructure, cloud services, backup and disaster planning, network security, and HIPAA Compliance, among a range of services.
Founded in 1949, Hargray provides communications and entertainment services to various markets in the southeastern United States. The company says the deal will expand its Data Center and Managed Services (DCMS) business and enhance its other offerings.
Infinity was founded in 2000 by brothers Robert and Brian Betzel. Robert will assume the role of market executive for Hargray Fiber’s Macon-Warner Robins operation and integration lead, while Brian will helm the integration process as Infinity mergers with Hargray’s DCMS business, the company said.
Infinity will maintain its operations in Macon and Covington with all staff remaining in their current capacity, according to the company. All client agreements, points of contact, and billings will also continue uninterrupted.
